Delicious food !We were a little hesitant bc the restaurant was empty (we arrived at an odd hour on a Monday) but so glad we decided to try it. It’s difficult to find good Peruvian food, but we really enjoyed all of our dishes! (I labeled everything below. The ceviche was presented very nicely, but I started dividing the portions before I remembered to take a photo. Wanted to clarify, so that no one thinks it was served to us funny haha.) We only tried the Peruvian dishes but I’m sure the Mexican dishes are just as good. I’m not a huge dessert person but I would really recommend trying the dessert as wellOur server (I think his name was Asvil/Asvin?) was very kind and attentive. My only critique is that I found the aesthetic a little confusing. For someone who appreciates an intentional ambiance, it would’ve been nice if there was a more unified aesthetic. But I liked all the pothos plants, and there was also a beautiful mural upon entering the spaceI was content w my experience and would return. Definitely try this place out if you’re in the area !
We’re here each January from Chicago and had previously visited this restaurant before it changed hands. Ceviche 28 by Pedro is a much improved experience and we agreed both of our dishes were also improved. Our server, Romona was a delight and very attentive. We ordered Steak & Chicken Fajitas and chicken chimichanga. Both were served searing hot and delicious sides of beans, guacamole, sour cream and pico. Portions were prefect for the price and both had left overs. We were sad to think that we’re heading back to the freezing cold north and won’t have an opportunity to come back until next January!! We recommended it highly for a delicious Mexican or Peruvian dinner.
My family and I came here and we loved it! The owner is super kind and the service was very good. Everyone who works here is very nice! The food was delicious. We had the ceviche and chicken and shrimp fajitas. Everything was super tasty. And lastly the dessert was very good. Overall I recommend this place if you’re looking for Spanish food and a great atmosphere!😋 Give it a try! Also the margarita was very good!
Great new menu. The chicken burrito was awesome. Good portions good price. The chef and staff were great. All I can say is I would prefer a $15 starting price point for Mexican and Peruvian dishes. Currently prices range from 12-22 bucks. Daily specials need to be better promoted and possibly lunch specials for 10 bucks would be a crowd pleaser on weekdays and weekends. I highly recommend everyone give them a try. Desserts were awesome.
This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The decor inside is bright and colorful with fun/upbeat music playing. The staff was very friendly, multiple wait staff checked in on us through out the meal. My boyfriend got the steak chimichangas which were covered in cheese and the steak was perfectly cooked and had a little zing from the lime. Even the black beans were delicious. We got fried plantains which were nice and crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside. I ordered a seafood dish with calamari, mussels, scallops and shrimp over rice and peppers. The owner brought me my meal personally and told me he takes pride in this dish. When I tell you it was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and the potion was huge! The seafood was all cooked perfectly, soft and really soaked up all the flavors from the rice, peppers, and seasonings. Every bite was very tastey I would order it every time I go. The owner came out a few times to ask us about the food, I could tell he was excited to see what we thought. Our two friends we were with ordered Baja fish tacos and beef chimichanga and they loved their food too. At the end of our meal we had a passion fruit cheesecake, it was very light and fluffy and melted in your mouth. The passion fruit taste was so good I’ve never had anything like it. Great food from a great guy. Will definitely be back!
