First time at this Peruvian Restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh!! My favorite dish was the Jalea Mixta!! We also tried Lomo Saltado, Baja Fish Tacos & Passion Fruit Cheesecake. Great service and friendly staff! Definitely worth trying.
Ceviche 28 in Ormond Beach has a really unique and colorful interior. The Frida Kahlo artwork and all the wall paintings stand out and give the space a lot of character. We ordered a few different dishes, including ceviche and green mussels, and really enjoyed the seafood. Everything felt fresh and well prepared. It’s a nice spot if you’re looking for something a little different from the usual places around here. The atmosphere is vibrant but still comfortable and everyone was nice.
Delicious food !We were a little hesitant bc the restaurant was empty (we arrived at an odd hour on a Monday) but so glad we decided to try it. It’s difficult to find good Peruvian food, but we really enjoyed all of our dishes! (I labeled everything below. The ceviche was presented very nicely, but I started dividing the portions before I remembered to take a photo. Wanted to clarify, so that no one thinks it was served to us funny haha.) We only tried the Peruvian dishes but I’m sure the Mexican dishes are just as good. I’m not a huge dessert person but I would really recommend trying the dessert as wellOur server (I think his name was Asvil/Asvin?) was very kind and attentive.My only critique is that I found the aesthetic a little confusing. For someone who appreciates an intentional ambiance, it would’ve been nice if there was a more unified aesthetic. But I liked all the pothos plants, and there was also a beautiful mural upon entering the spaceI was content w my experience and would return. Definitely try this place out if you’re in the area !
We’re here each January from Chicago and had previously visited this restaurant before it changed hands. Ceviche 28 by Pedro is a much improved experience and we agreed both of our dishes were also improved. Our server, Romona was a delight and very attentive. We ordered Steak & Chicken Fajitas and chicken chimichanga. Both were served searing hot and delicious sides of beans, guacamole, sour cream and pico. Portions were prefect for the price and both had left overs. We were sad to think that we’re heading back to the freezing cold north and won’t have an opportunity to come back until next January!! We recommended it highly for a delicious Mexican or Peruvian dinner.
Came in thinking typical Americanized Mexican food. Wonderfully surprised; the shrimp and fish ceviche was fabulous (served with sweet potato, soft corn (hominy) and fried corn. It all worked incredibly well together on the palate. We then had the shredded chicken chimichanga and surf and turf burrito as main course. Really can’t adequately express how wonderful the food tasted. This has the feel of a scratch kitchen…more than a production line of tacos and burritos. Must try!
