Over Heard about Hull’s from another guest telling someone about a restaurant that had great seafood and was local. When we travel we prefer to try local places v chain restaurants.
They did not disappoint. There was a wait but we were able to grab a drink while we waited.
Service was pretty good. They were quite busy.
The food was excellent.
Would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a local place to eat.

I had the pleasure of dining at Hull’s Seafood in Ormond Beach this past Sunday night, and it was a fantastic experience. Not only is this a great restaurant, but it’s also a fish market where you can pick out fresh seafood to take home—or have them cook it for you, which is such a unique and convenient option!While they were out of a couple of fish dishes, our server, Robert D, made excellent recommendations for other fresh options that didn’t disappoint. The blue crab soup and the broiled seafood platter were absolutely phenomenal—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I upgraded the fish on the platter to grouper for a slight upcharge, and it was worth every penny. However, the cracked conch fell slightly short of expectations. It was a bit chewy and could have used a more tender preparation or additional marination.What truly set the evening apart was the outstanding service. Robert D was incredible—attentive, friendly, and professional. He kept our table spotless, ensured our drinks were always filled, and made sure everything was to our liking. Although we were too full for dessert, he made a point to offer tempting options like Key Lime Pie and blueberry hush puppies, which I’ll definitely have to try next time.Whether you’re dining in, picking up fresh seafood from the market, or having them cook something just the way you like it, Hull’s Seafood is a must-visit in Ormond Beach. Fresh ingredients, delicious dishes, and top-notch service make it a memorable experience.

Came up here to visit a friend and ended up going to this restaurant. It has great food and service. Clean environment and felt welcomed. The serving was fast and no need to wait for a long period of time. Had a great time here.If I ever come back to the area I’ll definitely stop by again. Very calming location to spend some leisure time with friends.

Thank you Hull’s for being open on a Monday night!Where do I begin?Carlo, who was at the valet stand, kindly let us know that the wait would be about an hour. We took the chance and he took the keys.Not wanting to wait the full hour, our party of four scoped out the bar where we lucked out and found seats.The menu looked incredible, it was tough to make a decision. We began with a dozen chargrilled oysters and a round of beers (the Ponce Inlet blueberry) and decided on onion rings, hush puppies, house salad, clam chowder, mahi tacos, mahi sandwich, fish and chips, and a lobster roll.The staff was BUSY, but very efficient and friendly. Ashley took great care of us!We were so full and satisfied that we had to take our key lime pie slices to go, which, you cannot miss when dining at Hull’s. If you don’t have room, take it to go, and put it in the freezer. So good.We were SO pleased with the experience, including the entire staff cracking jokes with us while we selected t-shirts from the display wall.We will be back sometime this week.

Hull's was highly recommended online, so we decided to stop in while driving through. Joey was super friendly and patient, gave us the rundown and suggested their locally caught fishes. We tried the shark, tilefish, and their oysters. The food was fast, fresh, and tasty! The fish was flaky, the oysters were nice and briney, the clam chowder was also made in house and flavorful. Definitely will stop by next time we are in the area!
