Satisfyingly delectable! Bronx House Pizza made my day. The slice of pizza was a perfect symphony of thin crispy crust, melted stretchy cheese, flavorful, well-balanced sauce, and tasty quality toppings. The staff is the real asset. Audible yums with numerous bites! 10/10 would recommend.
Let's start with the buttery garlicky knots, omg, delicious. The slice of pepperoni with the mini pepperoni, which by the way is my favorite. Fresh! Yesss, I'm greedy, lol. So, I also had the chicken parm. Fresh and cheesy, just how I like it. Trust, it won't disappoint...
Well, I guess everyone drops the ball every once in a while. I usually like to stop in for a couple of slices and I've even called in delivery before. The BH in Ormond is usually a good experience. Last night, however, I spent $35 on a 6 slice pizza that was a complete waste of money. I ordered a Nuts & Bolts Detroit pizza online and asked to take the green peppers and pepperoni off 1/2 the pie. Once ordered and paid (including a $3 tip, stupid me!) I got a call from the store saying that they don't do half toppings on Detroit pies and I could "either take the two toppings off the entire pie or leave them on the entire pie." She never said WHY they wouldn't do that. I asked to leave them off entirely. She did not offer to adjust the price of my pie since I was no longer getting a Nuts and Bolts pie, just a Detroit with sausage and onions. So after all that, and a promise that it would be delivered in 60-70 minutes, it was delivered in 90. It was barely warm and undercooked. The delivery guy apologized but by that point, I was over it. Worst pizza experience of my 60 year old life. Congratulations. That's saying something.
$10 for 3 mozzarella sticks?????????? I went on DoorDash for this, spent $18 (yes most fees were bc of DoorDash abt $6) this is ridiculous. Biting into is like biting into FROZEN FOOD!! No cheesiness nothing. I’m going to be looking for a refund soon.
Had only previously ordered take out many times, which was phenomenal. Our family recently celebrated two birthdays with a “larger” party at peak dining time, the staff was incredibly hospitable, food was fast and beyond delicious. The whole staff sang “Happy Birthday” with a giant sparkler, which made their day. Highly recommend ALL OF THEIR FOOD regardless or dining in or taking out.
