We had a BOGO coupon so we thought we'd give them a try. Went on a Sunday afternoon after church and the place wasn't too busy. Food was average and so was the service. We asked to have the french fries made crispy and the server said "no problem " So, when the fries came out they were far from crispy so we asked if they could make them crispier "no problem " was the reply. Anyway, the real problem was that the fries never came back until we were done with our meals and ready to leave. However, we did stay to eat the fries because they were incredibly hot AND crispy 😋!

Several years ago, you could not beat this restaurant for great BBQ, service & overall satisfaction. We were regulars for years eating there several times a week. The place got sold & it has been steadily downhill ever since. We only ate there last week because someone from out of town wanted to meet us there & didn’t believe us when we said it wasn’t good—they believe us now! There was hardly anyone there that evening, but the service was very slow. Two (out if 4) of the orders got mixed up. The meat was dry & the sides looked like they’d been sitting around. The place feels dirty & run down & the restroom was gross. The prices are far too high for the size portions you get. The manager was absolutely no help when we complained & none of the staff looks like they want to be there. We can’t believe they are still in business. We will never, ever go back. It is very disappointing since it was once our favorite place. This place is less than a mile away from our house, but we will travel all the way to DeLand and eat at Brian’s BBQ which is about 1000% better in every respect.

Ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was buy 1 get 1 free and now I know why. I took one bite and tossed both away. It tastes all mushy like it was tuna in a can. Just horrible and disgusting. I’m not a picky eater either and this was trash.

Food and service was great ESPECIALLY FOR WORKING IN A LITERAL OVEN! Air conditioning was broken and the employees were dying and still made our food with a smile!! I hope they are being compensated but I heard they are not!! Bad woodys!! Appreciate your workers!!! Randy and Marcus were the best, they were truly slaving away sweating to death but still cooked our food in a sanitary and expedited way and never complained!! Top notch!!!!
